Aegritudo amoris

Aegritudo amoris

It was all a ray of sun
a ray of joy
the day I fell in love
my boy!

I saw flowers blossoming out there
and flames and fire out here.
Like dormant gems and burned
by who knows what.

It was all a ray of sun
a ray of joy
the day i had died of love
my boy!

Nevertheless,
a big storm was blustering
but my head was calm to know
that in this world
morbidly mortal
the real illness

Is not to Love.
