Hope may be lost in this wild adventure
Still, to write you my feelings now I must
Caught is my heart in prison of rapture,
Where I shall be held to remain, not lost.

Love so tender like a mild soothing breeze,
Is what I bear witness in you my dear
As I write, I pray my ink shall not freeze
For you, much I have in my heart to bare.

Brightened was my heart like the heavens shine:
The sun you are that lights an empty space
In this journey, I seek to make you mine
To you I come, so my heart shows it's face.

Dear, this love I hope shall last all the way,
Through the vile storms that may come in to stay.
