A heart is heavy where sadness lingers
Weight so oppressive, it is difficult to breath
Eyes without reason, without seeing
No call of despair, no tear for sympathy
Death had come a long time ago
With not another soul in sight
It had taken what it needed
Leaving the rest for display
For the moment, travel this world blind
And seek a remedy for a disease incurable
May have been better this way
This place can be burdensome
Do not extend a hand to this
Know it can pull any person in
All has its appointed meeting
Where a part completes a whole
Sadness lingers still
And this piece remains
