Again

I stare out the misty window.
I stare at the leaves,
freshly fallen from their twiggy homes.
Each one unique and beautiful,
yet still a part of something.
Worth something.
Careless as they float from where they grew
flying higher as a car drives past.
Eventually ground into the dirt
and become a tree
again.
