Yet another year approaches
Alone I am again.
Spending Christmas by myself,
wishing for the same thing. Again.

Not alone really, everybody's here
but we're not related...
And just like last year
your return is eagerly being waited.

At least here, they care.
People love me. Feed me. Hold me.
I know they'll always be there.
Unlike you, Mommy and Daddy.

Looking at them, my sisters and brothers,
we all feel the same pain.
None of us have mothers,
but we don't complain.

For everyone is on their own
whether it be now or later,
and we don't have a home...
but that just makes us greater.

Just leave us be,
I know you never wanted me.
