Against My Cheek

Walking through the night,
I’ve lost my personality
Wisps of air swish away pieces of Life
The experience is so sobering
To have the wind against my cheek
After so long
I will not be here forever
But I can choose my final song
Leading to a reflection of the sky
Pointing to The Tail Of God’s Heart
Like that feeling in the wind
When Death has taken a loved one
Energy fills the Earth
Good, bad, ugly, kind
The vibrations are everywhere
Mistakes are the melody
To which I ride my sobriety
Love, Live, Learn, Repeat
That’s my philosophy
I can feel the wind
Against my cheek
The experience is different
Each and every time
Growing every day,
I will not be a victim to this short Life
