Ailatan

Once and now thou embarked in love
a mistress of beauty too far above
Ailatan, the spoken words of her name
a rose from a garden I could not claim

Her love forbidden to change, yet waver
Until one day blessed us together
Oh, how she bestowed a smile so eloquently
but still, the love sprouted forever slowly

Long after, our love birth a fruit
a fruit as beautiful as the Orpheus flute.
Day in and day out she'd play this fine tune
enchanted and alluring as the full moon

But her love emerged ever transparent
whilst the moon shift forever a crescent
Everyday awoken, I starved for more
and God and his kings blessed me, but an encore.
