Air

I need you like I need air.
Without you I cannot bear,
For it throws my heart into despair.
But do you care?
How do you leave my heart to fair
When I have nothing left to spare?
Without you is like not having air,
Letting me drowned in my own despair.

Even as I see you pass by,
I feel my heart get tight.
And my face runs red, as I hide and fight.
Because I think I'm addicted, my heart's constricted.
Because I'm not breathing air my head's so light, like I've gained flight.

I need you like I need air.
Without you I cannot bear,
For it throws my heart into despair.
