Mother Earth was wide awake
When she made this land
It's a testament to her beauty
And a precious gift to man
From her densely covered forest
To her snow capped peaks
The crystal clear cold waters
They hold the peace you seek
I've seen the lower forty eight
And what mans done down there
I'll stay up here and take my chance
Amongst the grizzly bear
The eagles abound in family groups
You don't have to look real hard
To spot a moose
The salmon are fat
And the forest are virgin
Birds are afoul
We also have sturgeon
There's just one question
I have to ask ya
Is there any place more beautiful
Than Alaska
