Since ugliness is a blessing
and silence not a curse
to be left alone/by one’s self
away from all that’s mean &
artificial &
posing on this earth
let me drown in amber pools
& dance naked in the rain
alone & unafraid, the path before me plain
unseen by anyone but me
In deep forest, tucked away
silent Gods are watching me
writhing in pleasure & pain
black magic seeping through my veins
In ecstasy, in alchemy in pain
Sky bursts, organic love
I’m on my knees again
magic of the underworld
makes for a wicked brew
So, come on now, take a sip
aren’t you done w/being you?
step forth – drink deep it
might almost make you sane
which is to say, completely numb
but not quite – the process of
transforms you & your pain

This Poems Story

One is a series of recent poems I have written about inner processes; the feelings of inner freedom, the climbing out the the "box".
