Alien Worlds

Through the void of space,
A silver vessel drifting through the eternity.
Slowly, touching down upon a gargantuan world.
One giant leap for mankind. Taking place

long ago. Leafing through a book,
Foundations lying in the past.
Occhiolism mixed with the text of history.
A lifetime ago, almost unreal.

We learn of the triumphs of the past.
The victories that are real,
Yet they happened in another world
Like an alien spectacle, a work of fiction.
