All Dried Up

I wonder how long it has been gone, the lake
No more sparkle,
you could see the sunshine off of the water
They are all gone to, the fish
No more fishing,
you could see the boats with lines in the water
They’ve flown away, the birds
No more birds,
you could see them floating in the waves
But not anymore, the lake is gone
