All I Want

get lost in my labyrinth of life
lay your sweet lips on a cracked life
love the way your name sounds safe
in the mouth that's overused and sore
attack all that haunts you
sweep away all the tears and hurt
runaway with someone who's not afraid
to tell you how your hair looks
know that whatever you do
I'll be climbing
swimming
running
jumping
crawling to get to you
to make you feel safe
to make you feel loved
lean a very stubborn ear
and listen to all that's been said
open your tear infested eyes
sore and stinging with sadness
you'll see that all I want is
for you to be happy
and to stop entirely caring
about how you can't climb a fence
that's not even there.
