All Storms Come to an End

I cry a river, to float the memories away,
to wash my heart. to heal all of the pain.
I'm crying a river because you're gone...

I cry an ocean, in hopes that my mind becomes opaque
and the waves blur my eyes of the past.
I'm crying an ocean because you're no more...

A flood forms, and the water will recede
but unfortunately the love will not...
for it is like a rock--strong.
Until the water came, yet it never disappeared
even though it experienced change...

They say all storms come to an end.
But when the river dries, and the ocean vanishes, and the flood leaves
hopefully, the water didn't wash away the strength that I need.
To move on...

from you.
