All The Same
All The Same:
We are all in cages,
Soldiers to our own emptiness,
We are on fire within,
Waiting till we are struck and met with doom.
But all the same give thanks to life.
We are alive but losing time,
We have walls but they are tumbling down,
We are cold hearted but we smile it away.
All the same life is thorny and youth is vain.
Have you changed for the better?
Or are you bowing to a rock.
All the same brace yourself,
You are just ashes and dust.
