Alone

Alone
I found myself in heaven
Blue light shone through the profound
Angels flew in flocks of eleven
Above golden cottony mounds
Upon those mounds I stood wingless
While staring at the majesty
My loneliness
Poisoned that sight of beauty
You see; I was in the land of the divine
Though, with a razor
In my eye
I had no one.
No one to laugh or be with
And certainly no one to kiss
While standing there naked, I wondered
Was there something God had missed?
In shock
From the lack of those around
My mind began yelling loud
“Where is everyone!”
Then,
In horror,
I realized.
None of them joined me
Once we all had died.
