I stand alone on life's empty stage,
The fear quivers deep in my bones,
Wishing for strength to turn the page,
But how can one do it alone?
There arose within my desolation,
A question all should ponder.
Do all men feel such isolation?
That they've been left to wander?
Perhaps if we were to extend a hand,
To look all around and show concern
To raise up the weary and take a stand,
This pain inside would cease to burn.
Let us all reach out and do our part,
And find new peacefulness in our heart.
