Alone

So the tears that default
From these coffins of salt
Never lost, never caught
Wash away the shame that was easily tossed
Disturbed by the thoughts
That shatters memory's asphalt
Paved by the stains of the same elements
Of ridiculed intelligence
Relevant to the psychopathic malevolence
Hypnotized by the disguised eloquence
Of a devil seductively playing the fiddle so subtle
The deception of an insidious deliverance, muddled
By the quiet unknown, seeping into the bone
Trapped by the rapture of dissonant tones
The song envelopes the little that is left
Strive to believe only leads to certain death
Choked on the lies that finds their way back home
They lied, they lied, and they left me naked
Disowned

Alone
