Always Moving

I am a neverending rain pouring on the grass
I move forward through nature seeing all that I pass
Like the wind I continue to move around
I have lost my home, the softened ground
I pass my Maker in the clouds above
She hangs in the night gathering love
Oh moon who shines like stars at night
Take away my pain and fright

I am like the rain, like each and every drop
Falling upon the ground nonstop
I never stop in this work I do
Before the light I'll have passed by you
But the night is short and the day too long
For by sunlight the humans do all their wrong
I have lost my home, the patient wild
I am a woman and once more a child
