When a person is diagnosed with Alzheimer's there is no treatment,
there is no cure.
the one thing to do is hope we can handle what we are about to endure

We watch our loved ones as their memory slips away;
each day we pray these memories will stay.

There is nothing we can do, there is nothing we can say,
to bring back the memories we shared on that very special day.

You may not know my name or recognize my smile
but as I sit here next to you,we reminisce for a while.

As I look at you, I see this is not how you expected the end to be;
I promise you one day we will meet again, Alzheimer's free.
