Alzheimer's, Alzheimer's there is no rhyme or reason
It seems to strike during any season
It turns your world upside down
And replaces your smile with an unwanted frown

It tests your patience on a daily basis
You almost forget how to be gracious
But put that aside and just remember
All the wonderful times you had

Be thankful my dear that you can be near
To give him a hug
And a kiss on his ear
Remember the good days with pride
