Am I smiling? [Please lie to me]

With a whisper of soft nothings
I swallow the words I wish to purge from my force-fed smile

I'm like a pill popper

Always a smile, always

Real smiles are not on our lips
They are in our eyes

I just can't muster of the courage
The courage to see my own reflection

I can't
[that's a fithy lie, I just don't want to]

I don't want to lie to myself

The reason is on the tip of my tongue
The ends of my finger tips
[i can lie just like I breath]

Smiles are not on our lips, they are in our eyes.

Am I smiling?
[please lie, please]
