amazing grace
i see the sign
like breaks of dawn on your face
a period in Janus time

so young you were at five
a teary child amidst the wild
when in this world will you fit and jibe
maybe, thirteen, would you still be tender and mild

once the ocean witnessed your rage
but the waves serenade you to be calm and pacific
the shorelines sees drift of your age
growing gracefully as the sea of atlantic

amazing grace
i see the sign
of your great love and kisses
to this heart of mine
