An Affair with Wind

Glance at me o stumptuous eyes,
And you shall see the plea in mine
Smile at me o shielded lips,
And you shall see the curves in mine.

A noval warmth, the heart feels shy,
An unreal face I paint in mind
A kiss unseen, I let fly
And on to her lips I hope it binds.

With unflawed steps she floats shimmering,
With every move the town's eyes halt
And her shadow echoes her rejoicing,
Till it withers; the midnight's fault.

And as the moon prettifies the silent road,
I wait to hear a familiar approach
And I look that way to see her troad,
Her touch I feel but the form unseen, sails in the wind's coach.
