An Angel

If an angel were to bare his soul
Do you think it would expose the demon inside
Would the world be cast into darkness
As the falsities of God's perfection were brought to the surface
Would the beauty of his form melt
Turning him and all his kind into ugly beasts
Into blood thirsty, lust filled, ordinary men
Men that harm, rape, lie, kill
Would the world become chaos
A place filled with nothing but violence and hate
If an angel were to bare his soul
Would it tip the scales so much
That the world would simply shatter then fall
