An escape

She's trapped.
Anxiety fills fills somewhere between the empty pit in
her stomach and the dark trenches of her mind.
She cuts away to escape, even if for just a minute.
She can hear the blood rushing as if pouring into her
eyes and all she sees is white.
For a moment she is blind to the world.
She lays down finally relieved and let's herself fade.
When she wakes up the world is clear again and the cuts
are just a sign of someone being trapped inside.
