An Illusion

That perfect love story was just an illusion,
It was not so! Just her delusion.
"Do you love me?", she had asked,
"Yes" was the answer in which the truth was masked.
"Will you always?", she had confirmed.
"Forever and after", he had affirmed.
But look, where that got her now!
The dream guy backing off from every vow.
"Do you love me?", now she asks,
"Have I ever?" , he mock laughs.
All her faults had her facing the repercussions,
"What have you done to yourself?", everybody questions.
"Trusted a wrong guy" is what she says.
Crying is all, she does these days.
But, one day she will stand stronger than ever.
"Learned a lesson", she will say forever.
