An Impossible Hope?

Wisdom well aged and a razor blade mind
with emotional depth so rare to find
Eyes that sparkle like sun in a mirror
A body so fine, I'm forced to stare
Lips a cabernet flavored red
and skin as soft as heaven's beds
A girl constructed so perfectly

Pride that cannot be pried away
Walls to keep lovers at bay
A past that's forced her to be strong
Such confidence, dare say she's wrong
A similar life she shares with me

A creator, a cook and a plethora of talents
Amazing the way in which she can balance
Mornings I wake to the sound of her name
The mind playing tricks is a brutal game
Since silence and space, the queen's decree

A soul of silver and an eye for gold
An ice cold love I was told
But invited inside, I felt her fire
My heart was melted now its desire
An impossible hope? Time will see
