An Ode to Our Wahoo

Patiently waiting...
Yay, Wahoos!
Surrounded by crowds of anxious families
Drizzle, dark skies, wet seats, and mud
The walk begins,
Yay Wahoos!
Graduates surging forwarding in a sea of colorful
balloons.
The future lies ahead of as
Memories of their past four years reflect in a rear
view mirror.
The crowd cheers with excitement.
Yay, Wahoos!
All heads turn to hope to catch a glimpse of their
graduate.
I see my sister!
Kelsi, Kelsi, Kelsi!
Our voices ricochet across the hallowed ground
Silence as the ceremony begins
Balloons float heavenward
Pride in my sister and all her accomplishments
My heart is full!
Kelsi, Kelsi, Kelsi, yay our Wahoo!
