Angel Wings

The angel's wings reflect softly from the moonlight,
A constant reminder of a finished fight.

I see the beauty that she brings to Earth,
I see the beauty that burns brightly in the hearth.

She goes back to Heaven, home at last,
Her moonlit wings fly so fast.

Her immortal smile, I will never deny,
Even after she says goodbye.
