Angry wordsdirected at me
but not for me
cries of frustration
and screams of hurt
and fear
as he flails
at the world
using me
to see
his pain
as he searches
for his self
and I know
he knows
screaming at me
won't help
but he can't let
these feelings
make him quiet
because it would
mean helplessness
or even worse
hopelessness
