Animals

Have you ever seen a bird,
Sitting on its hind
Lifting into the air and taking flight?
Have you ever seen a mouse,
Chewing on some berries,
Skitting through the tall dry grass,
Followed by the singing of canaries?
Have you ever seen a cat,
Bouncing off the walls,
Like tiny little plastic balls,
Not meant to be laid flat?

Have you ever seen a squirrel,
Running up a tree,
Hardworking and reliant,
Would make quite the client?
Have you ever seen a dog,
Barking at the gates,
Silver collar around its neck,
Waiting at your beck?
Have you ever seen a fish,
Swimming with its school,
In the cool clear waters,

Find a coy and you might strike rich.
Have you ever seen a snake,
Slytherin on its way,
Looking for its meal for the day?
Have you ever seen a deer,
Skipping through the forest,
Huge wide horns build for battle,
Looking here and there?
Have you ever seen a crab,
Claws attached to a sea shell,
Crawling across the sand?

Have you ever seen these?
Have you ever touched this?
We all are just ANIMALS
