Anna

I love spending time with my kitty Anna;
Her fur is dark brown like an overripe banana;
She has almond-shaped eyes and a cute pinkish nose,
And inspires "oohs" and "aahs" wherever she goes;
She's given me a lot of comfort and solace;
I'm very glad that I never rendered her clawless;
We walk in the woods where her vision is poorest;
It's more like a glade but she thinks it's a forest;
We live in a small house, on top of a hill;
Where the days are real noisy, the nights are quite still;
Someday we'll move, perhaps to Indiana;
Then again, it might be a little too windy, Anna.....
I'm not sure what Anna would say given the chance;
Maybe, "Meow! I'd much rather be living in France!";
Sometimes I bury my face deep into in her fur;
And I know she loves me, much as I love her
