Any Man’s Anchor

Part I

You must stop trying to pull wool over my eyes,
cuz' you're only fooling yourself with your lies,
living within a treacherous skin of disguise,
missing out on me, your wife, and this life,
you're now, an identity in strife,
-unhappy and full of spite-

Part II

Hiding who you really are,
still clutching onto the man you tried to be,
but that guy's forever of past,
so before sun kisses dusk,
before too late- so before last,
please allow to express real-
--Let your true self free--

Remove that anchor to live in beauty
