Apparently it's Different
Because of what you did,
You made my life unbearable,
Ever since I was a kid.
You used to beat me up,
They said “boys will be boys”.
Inside I wanted to erupt,
For you taking away all of my joy.
Though now you accept me,
Apparently it’s different,
Your girlfriend changed your mind,
But towards you, I feel indifferent.
You’re my so called family,
Yet I resent you like no other.
The sad part is,
I’m still forced to call you my brother.
