April Rain

A small town's precious little soul was called home far too soon.
She's now safe and sound in her new hometown,
Watching over everyone from her new room.
I pray all this April rain can bring relief in May,
And I pray someday it'll take away your pain.
It's okay to weep, so let your tears shower
Because April rain will always bring May flowers.
I promise all your sorrows will evaporate one day,
And I promise you'll find light in your darkest hours.

Heaven sent angels down on an innocent small town's world.
A silence that called us all to gather around,
Was the calling of our hometown's most memorable girl.

I pray all this April rain can bring relief in May,
And I pray someday it'll take away all your pain.
It's okay to weep, so let your tears shower
Because April rain will always bring May flowers.
I promise all your heartache will vanish one day,
And I promise you'll find strength in your weakest hours.

All the things she didn't get to do,
Like her not being here today, seems tragic from our point of view.
It tears us apart, but in a way it brings a part of us together
Because she'll always fill our hearts for love lives on forever.
