April’s Resurrection

Glorious April days are here at last.
Sweet spring has come and winter is now past.
'Tis time for Earth to open sleepy eyes,
And from its tomb of hibernation rise.

Now nature resurrects from winter's death
To fill her lungs with fresh, life-giving breath.
The earth responds to nature's loving hand
And spreads its seeds of life across the land.

The sun shines bright in cloudless skies of blue,
And trees display a glimpse of greenish hue.
Upon a soft breeze floral scents are borne,
While birds' songs praise the lovely springtime morn.
