Are You Ready, Dr. Reddy?

By

Filled with sadness you came.
Our hearts matched, such a shame.
We were never meant to meet,
Yet, they brought you to me,
Your two hairy feet.

On rollercoasters and rainy walks,
You calmed my mind
And heard me when I talked.
There was one moment I cherish:
Lying in your bed and
Thinking I could never leave this.
Good morning turned into good night.
Sent on fire, was Red's last rise.

As if the Universe knew,
They sent COVID to keep me
From you too.
Oh, how I’ll miss all your blue.
On the clouds, I'll always miss you.
I promise,
I will not let them mess with your sky.
With all of my love, goodbye.
Goodbye with all of my love.
