Arrival

When doomsday comes,
We’ll be okay
We’re the ones living Life like we’re already dying
The ultimate contradiction
Our dreams cease to wait
For nighttime to come
This means nightmares too
Reality can be bent into a tangle of different shaped webs unfortunately
The good and bad are waiting for our decisions
Before purpose, comes solving the mystery of not becoming a zombie
Strong humans save others
Join the army of goodness
We retaliate against bad thinking
The young and old, we’re all on a journey
Together, we join forces
Fighting the daytime nightmares
Turning dreams into reality
Twisting the waves of time to better humanity
We are individuals
And that is our power
Down on our knees in our own pain,
We learned a higher form of intelligence
So we have to ask the question that remains,
Haven’t we faced enough doomsdays to change things?
