Art in the Sky

The sky just after sunset
Is so pure
How the gradient fades
From an astonishing cobalt
To a burning golden peach
To a mellow lavender skyline
To the black void
The iridescence reflecting
Off the gentle ripples
In the water below
How wonderful the sight is
Swiftly taken by dusk
The stars illuminate
What was once filled
With a beautiful color palate
A canvas painted
By God himself
Now a different form of
Masterpiece
