As The Ebony Tree Falls

A kiss of sweet Daisy
Till the Ebony Tree falls
The Heleniums flow
And the Dead Leaves crawl

The field of Cypress covers her
Dogsbane within her heart
Dahlia runs through her blood
And with White Lily must she part

The Lucern is sure to leave her soon
For her Rose's fate has been sealed
Her Marigolds have finally bloomed
And she now lies still in her Cypress field

Yellow Tulips always grow
And prove Carolina Roses true
Poor girl allowed White Dittany in
Do not let such vines reach you

Because Roses were meant to pass
And the Ash tree decay
Beech trees only live for so long
Till Iceland Moss begins to go astray
