Asking nature.

I whispered to the trees for something
to write,
then a cool breeze touched me
on this hot July night .
Nature spoke without a word, It
must have been the most beautiful
silence my soul has ever herd.
This beauty unspoken brought to
me with a breeze,
its amazing to speak to such wise
trees such as these.
Theres enough here already written
to calm the eyes,
sooth a soul and in rich the heart,
nature makes me look so smart.
Mother Earth im yours now and
when im bathing in your dirt,
you always show me
love by
protecting me from hurt.
I pay it forward whenever i can,
im not godly,
im just a man. When nature speaks
i understand. I know
she knows
im her legs to stand, hands
to heel and right now
the voice whos written
how she can feel.
There's no doubt mother earth
keeps it real.
