Assurance

Its easier to forgive an enemy, than to forgive a friend...
The bitterness i have has already taken its place,
I did not empty my heart of the disappointment,
Which was so painfully bestowed upon me...
I just let it sink deeper and deeper,
Deeper to the depths of my soul,
Where disappointment will forever lie,
With a hatred that stings; the pure tears i once dropped gracefully,
fall into the black fire...
Eternally burning, a fiery passion that:
Crisps the heart and cracks the skin,
Torches the eyes, and slices the tongue,
Burns day tonight, embellishes my sorrow...
Destroys everything in its wake.
Be weary of the fire for your soul it will take,
It shall burn out of control, searing the edges of your soul...
Disappointment, betrayal, found in a friend falsely gilded of gold...
