At Home Nowhere

Have you ever been so lost
that you start to feel at home.
And all those dead end paths
now lead to a place to go.
And maybe they weren't dead ends
but an arrow in disguise,
pointing back to your nowhere land
where none can tell you lies.
And you start to suddenly accept
that nowhere is your place
you start to unpack your life
trapped in your escape.
With comfort in confusion
and mayhem in your head.
Stuck in a never ending spiral
where reality is pretend.
Looking for security
in anything that moves.
Maybe slowing down is easy
but it's not what I can do.
