At least pretend

She drowns in the ocean
Somehow tries to swim,
Her own people put a pressure
There stays a void unfilled.

She looses in the race of courage
And never accepts the defeat,
For her there still exists a way
Though she is already on the knees

Every time she raises her voice
Someone says that's enough,
And believe she lives an easy life
Who cares if the path is rough?

True that she has flaws
And life is piled up with regrets,
Did anyone ever measure
If her shoulders can carry that weight?

At one hand she has had alot
Deep down knows will stand again,
Might learn to live and accept it all
And if not than at least pretend.
