At least shes happier now

By Styx

Her words were few but they got to me.
Her stare pierced my heart, what was left of it.
When I fell, I fell hard.
sinking deep into what I thought was love.
It was all in vein.
The few words we had stopped,
and were given to another, someone she loved.
I was left to drown within the waters of lies.
I watch them as they smile like theirs no tomorrow,
and the only thing I can think without hurting is...
"At least she's happier now."
