As I sat there on the bus that day.
I was very tired with not a whole lot to say.
You told me to get up
and I did not know what to say or do.
you are a white man.
I’m supposed to listen to you.
I am sick and tired of all
the things they say about
the problems in our nation today.
I saw the look you gave
when I wouldn’t meet your demand
but for a person like me
you never lend me a hand.
Look I’m not disrespectful,
Well I mean I’m not trying to be...
I’m trying to make a point that
I hope you and this world can see.
Now I don’t mean any trouble,
not a fight or a fuss and all of this
happened over a seat on a bus...
