Autumn

Brightly colored leaves dancing along the forest floor.
Spinning, jumping to the winds lively beat.
Autumn is on display once more
A long awaited repreve from Summer's heat.
A time of harvest, a time to take stock;
A time to spend time with those we love.
Gather the seeds from Marigolds and Hollyhock.
A time to give thanks to God above.

This Poems Story

Came in after a full days chores and finally got to rest a little, It is now 9:30 pm. I made my usually journal entry and this poem came out line after line all intact in just 10 minutes. Sometimes it works that way.
