Autumn

Laughing through leaves
Crescent moon shining down
Growing more luminous it shrives
Until it melts away to dun

Changing colors of the season
Red to blue moon, with orange scraps fluttering
Dying in the meantime, stunned
Its suspiration paused in my soul
To record nostalgia of time before rest

Wild revelations of ancient fright
Nibbling the edges of consciousness
Witness the sight of cold, black night
