Autumn Is Among Us

Kids trudging through the leaves
Eager to yell out trick or treat
Dressed as scary or as pretty as they please

Cinnamon and apple flow through the air
Laughter and screams are everywhere

Sidewalks fill with goblins ghost and ghouls
As children carving pumpkins fill the schools

So scary yet so calm
This is the balance of fall
